extreme weight loss is trending…

Your world gets smaller (and lonelier)

When you aren’t giving your body enough energy to live, holding conversations with friends and/or trying to make new ones feels draining. And when you do attend social events, you stop engaging because connection (esp. around food and drink) feels incompatable with extreme control.

You lose all sense of pleasure and enjoyment

When every thought is consumed with food, fear, carbs, + calories there’s no desire, energy, or capacity, for fun, games or sex.

Spontaneity becomes the enemy

When your world is routines, rules, and rigid compliance, anything that has the potential to derail that becomes a threat and your world starts to shrink.

You lose your period

When you’re eating so few calories and/or exercising so much that your body no longer menstruates consistently, it’s not a flex. It’s a red fucking flag with serious long-term consequences (like infertility and bone loss).

Your anxiety skyrockets

When you’re chronically under eating your stress response is triggered and your nervous system loses its sense of safety - leading to obsessive thoughts about food, heightened control needs, hyper-vigilance, and increased anxiety across the board (not just around food).

Your body pays the bill

When you’re hyper focused on creating extreme weight loss, things get costly… bone density loss, hormonal disruption, chronic fatigue, recurring injuries, digestive issues, hair loss and brittle nails. And sometimes the bill demands to be paid YEARS later - long after the compliments fade.

I didn’t lose my health because I was reckless (as a first-born, eldest daughter I’m aversive to risk taking), I lost it because extreme weight loss was praised as discipline and I don’t want you to fall for the same lie.

If it costs you your health, happiness, and/or your headspace, it’s 👏🏻 too 👏🏻 expensive 👏🏻

Which is why I talk incessantly about the importance of HOW, WHY, and HOW QUICKLY you lose weight. Your life - and the quality of your life - depends on it. If you’re looking to lose weight without relying on restriction, deprivation, or extremes, I’m your girl

because extreme weight loss? it’s not a bill you want your body to pay.

Sincerely, a girl who’s been there 🫶🏻

A Nutrition Coach, adoptive mom, dog mom, and mint chocolate chip ice cream lover.

I didn’t always have this business: the Masters degree in Nutrition Science and Public Health, the passion, the clients... in fact, years ago you could have found me endlessly counting calories and trying to find my worth on the scale and at spin class, exhausted in my pursuit of (what I thought was) health and happiness.

In my early twenties, I struggled with crash dieting and disordered eating. Little did I know, those circumstances would be my one-way ticket out of my restrictive relationship with food & fitness. Those experiences led me here: to the life-giving, sustainable, habit-based nutrition philosophy I embody today. Today you can find me living life without a calorie counting app and spending time with my husband, one year old son, and our two crazy golden retriever pups.

I enjoy spending my free time reading, sipping on matcha lattes, and dreaming of ways I can help other women create healthy, confident relationships with food without selling their souls to food rules and calorie counting apps.

Because nothing lights me up more than helping women live full and vibrant lives without food fear, rules, or restriction. I want to be that permission granter in your life that whispers: “you really can do this” while the rest of the world continues to settle for short-term satisfaction.
