One word. Yes. You're on the road and you're in need of a quick lunch or a pick-me-up snack so you grab a protein bar or something with the word power in it because that has to be healthy riiiiight!? Wrong. Power bars are just a glorified candy bar. Market at it's best. They might contain a little bit more protein, but if the ingredients and the sugar counts are the same you're not doing yourself any favors.
You're better off with a few hardboiled eggs, unsalted nuts and/or low-sodium beef jerky (all of which you can find at your local convenience store).
